We fell in love with goat milk because of its unique nutritional qualities. While cow milk is high in A1 protein, goat milk is naturally rich in the smaller A2 protein, often making it easier for babies to digest. It is also naturally rich in over a dozen of the same gut-loving prebiotic fibres (oligosaccharides) found in human breast milk.

Goat milk also helps nurture the growth of beneficial gut bacteria. In fact, studies have found that babies fed goat milk formula tend to have a gut microbiome more similar to breastfed babies, compared with those fed cow milk formula. Studies also suggest that its anti-inflammatory and prebiotic properties may help lower the risk of eczema, digestive troubles and other immune issues. Goat milk also has better bioavailability of key nutrients such as selenium, which means they can be more easily absorbed in the body.
